This tag features deep, true 3D engraving with incredible depth and detail you can see and feel — the kind of finish that really makes the design pop.
Because 3D engraving requires many more engraving passes and extra hand-finishing, each tag takes significantly longer to produce than my standard designs, which is why it’s priced higher.
For copper and brass, I seal the engraving with a jewelry-grade protective coating to help slow tarnishing and keep the fine details looking crisp. These metals may still darken naturally over time (many people love the aged look), but they’re easy to brighten at home — a little ketchup works surprisingly well for polishing off tarnish.
