Each tag is made to order and deeply engraved into real metal—not printed and not a surface mark. Your pet’s info (and any design you choose) is engraved for a clean, long-lasting finish that holds up to everyday wear.

Most of our tags are classic round discs, and they’re made from extra-thick 3mm metal (about three times thicker than most tags) for added durability and a premium feel. We offer copper, brass, and aluminum in 3/4″, 1″, 1.25″, and 1.5″ sizes. We can also create custom shapes and custom sizes upon request—just message us with what you have in mind before ordering.

I can typically fit whatever information you need, but keep in mind: the more you add, the smaller the text will be. For best readability, I don’t recommend more than 3 lines on the 3/4″ size or 4 lines on the 1″ size. Larger sizes can fit more comfortably (and stay easier to read).

Yes—tarnish is normal for copper and brass and is part of having a real metal tag (many people love the aged look). If you prefer it shiny, you can brighten it up easily—there are lots of at-home methods, like rubbing a little ketchup on the tag for a few minutes, then rinsing and drying. You can also use a gentle metal polish if you prefer.

Resin Coating is a thick, glossy protective layer added to your tag for extra durability and a premium finish. It helps protect the surface from scratches and wear. Resin Color Inlay adds color inside the engraving (then sealed with a clear coating of resin). You can choose one color or multiple. It’s a great way to make the design pop and protect your tag even more!

Keep in mind each layer of resin needs time to set before moving to the next step, so this can add several days to your order.

Yes! You can email us your logo or artwork and we can usually engrave it. Bold, high-contrast designs work best—especially for smaller tag sizes.
