This tag features deep, 3D engraving. Because 3D engravings take significantly longer to engrave and hand-finish, the price is higher than my standard tags.
For copper and brass, I seal the engraving with a jewelry-grade protective coating to help slow tarnishing and keep the details looking crisp. These metals may still tarnish over time, but it’s easy to refresh at home — a little ketchup works great for polishing off tarnish.
